Present your original research at the International Conference on Sustainable Energy & Smart Technologies (ICSEST-2026), taking place on 24–25 September 2026 at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, Canada.
Submission Options: Authors may submit either an abstract or a full paper directly.

There is no specific ICSEST-2026 LaTeX class. Authors may use standard LaTeX templates (e.g., article or IEEEtran) following the ICSEST-2026 formatting rules.
After PDF submission, email a ZIP folder containing the original LaTeX source (.tex and .bib), the final PDF, and separate figures to: support@icsest.org
Authors are invited to submit abstracts between 200 and 400 words, providing a concise and structured overview of their proposed research. Each abstract should include the research purpose, methodology, key findings, and main conclusions.
Clearly state the objectives, methods, results, and implications of your research. Align your abstract with one or more ICSEST-2026 conference tracks and topics. Maintain a logical structure using clear and precise language suitable for a multidisciplinary audience. Avoid excessive jargon, unexplained abbreviations, or formulaic content. Abstracts must be original, unpublished, and free from plagiarism.Use the following abstract format as a reference for preparing your submission.
Title: Centered, bold Author(s): Full names, institutional affiliations, and email(s) Abstract: A concise summary (200–400 words) presenting background, methodology, results, and conclusions.Once submitted, all abstracts and full papers undergo an initial review by the Scientific Committee to assess quality, originality, and academic value.
Authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection within 2-4 weeks of submission (abstracts). Review outcomes may include: accepted as presented, accepted with revisions, or rejected due to plagiarism or quality issues. Accepted submissions will be included in the conference program upon successful registration confirmation.ICSEST-2026 respects academic integrity and the professional work completed by reviewers, editors, and conference administrators. Withdrawal after acceptance is strongly discouraged and is available only under the conditions stated below.
Only an accepted submission that remains unregistered and unpublished is eligible for withdrawal.
Rejected submissions, registered submissions, and works already included in an abstract book, proceedings, journal, repository, or indexing service are not eligible for withdrawal.
Published records, citations, metadata, archived copies, cached pages, and third-party indexing records may remain permanently available. ICSEST-2026 assumes no responsibility for their removal or alteration.
The corresponding author must email the request to support@icsest.org from the address used for submission. The request must include the submission ID, title, author names, reason for withdrawal, and confirmation that all co-authors have consented.

Payment alone does not complete the withdrawal. A submission is officially withdrawn only after review and written confirmation from the ICSEST-2026 Secretariat.
Withdrawal fees are non-refundable. Withdrawal does not create any right to a registration refund, credit, transfer, compensation, publication, presentation, certificate, invitation letter, or visa application support documents.
Accepted submissions not registered by the applicable deadline may be administratively closed, removed from the conference and publication process, and made subject to the applicable withdrawal fee.
ICSEST-2026 may retain submission, review, correspondence, payment, authorship, and status records for legitimate academic, administrative, publication, compliance, and recordkeeping purposes. The conference may approve, decline, or request further verification of any withdrawal request.
Authors may submit a full paper in either of the following ways:
After abstract acceptance, or Direct full paper submission (without prior abstract submission).Acceptance of an abstract does not constitute final acceptance for publication. Full papers undergo detailed peer review for publication consideration.
The full paper should expand upon the study’s content, presenting complete methodology, results, discussion, and conclusions. Papers will undergo double-blind peer review by two experts in the field. Review comments must be addressed carefully in any revised submission. Only papers that meet the academic and ethical standards of ICSEST-2026 will be considered for proceedings or journal placement.ICSEST-2026 and its Scientific Committee reserve the full right to determine the appropriate publication outlet for each accepted paper based on scientific quality, thematic relevance, and reviewer recommendations.
Selected research from previous conferences and related academic initiatives has been developed into Springer books and proceedings. These publication outcomes reflect the editorial quality, peer-review process, and long-term academic visibility connected with the conference series.
